Lead the Way as a Tin Cup Challenger
Tin Cup works because generosity multiplies. Donors support the nonprofits they love. Challengers amplify those gifts, strengthening Teton Valley's nonprofit community and increasing total impact. As a Challenger, you provide leadership-level support that makes the match possible and inspires others to give.
How the Match Works
Challengers contribute to a pooled Match Fund that partially matches designated gifts during the Giving Period. Instead of supporting just one nonprofit, your gift benefits all participating nonprofits.
A Strong Match
- Raises more total dollars
- Inspires broader participation
- Supports nonprofits of every size
Join the Match
Gifts of any size are welcome. Leadership and multi-year commitments help build a strong, reliable match each year. When you give as a Challenger, you're not directing dollars — you're increasing what's possible.

Friend of the Challenge
$1+
Every gift to the Challenger Fund makes a difference. Friends of the Challenge contribute at any level to support the match.
Being a Tin Cup Challenger is one of the most rewarding ways we give back to Teton Valley. Knowing that our contribution helps match every community gift makes the impact feel even greater.
Support Your Community
Challengers are a special group of businesses and individuals who give $1,500 or more to the Challenger Fund annually. Challengers are community leaders who promote charitable giving and intrinsically value Teton Valley's nonprofits. The generosity of our Challengers inspires increased community giving and is the key to the Tin Cup Challenge's success.
Gifts to the Challenger Fund are used to directly benefit local nonprofits by:
- Providing a partial Match Grant for participating nonprofits for funds raised during the Giving Period.
- Covering costs associated with the 6-week Giving Period and Event Day, ensuring nonprofits receive 100% of their designated donations.
- Funding the Community Foundation of Teton Valley's Competitive Grant Program, Youth Philanthropy, and Nonprofit Workshops for board and staff.
